The perfect casual outfit for a lazy Sunday

I love lazy Sundays when you have enough time to potter around the house, nip out for a spot of shopping and then relax on the sofa. It's a day when I want to wear easy and comfy clothes like this soft pink sweatshirt from &Other Stories that goes perfectly with Mango's paper bag trousers. I like that the sporty look of the jumper gets an unexpected twist through the cheetah tiger print. To not make the whole look too baggy, I decided to tuck it in which looks great if you get the trousers in a slightly looser fit.

I recently watched a film on Netflix with Angelina Jolie that played in the 60s somewhere Mediterranean and she kept carrying her groceries in a shopping net. It looked very laid-back and so much chicer than the plastic bags that I usually use to bring my food home. So, happy days when I discovered one of those nets at Mango. The Mango version looks even better with its black cotton mesh that could be mistaken for leather and the little canvas pouch to hide everything from curious looks (or in our country protect it from the weather).

Talking about the weather, yesterday was one of those typical London days with a constant drizzle and cloudy skies. I thought I need some nice flowers in the house to remind me that it's actually spring and to forget all that grey outside. Imagine me carrying a similar bag in this dreary and totally different setting. One got to have their aspirations!

My shoes are from a recent trip to the states and one of my favourite shopping haunts: Target! At roughly £16 they are a great alternative to the considerably more expensive option from Gucci and unless you'll inspect them from close-up no one will ever know.

After a few years living in London the novelty usually wears off and there’s the danger of doing the same things over and over again....
